At Soccer Trainers of
America and soccertrainers.com, our goal is to ensure that everyone
has the finest soccer experience possible. That ability is enhanced
by our Board of Advisors. With many regarded as America's coaching
elite, our Board of Advisors assists in many facets of the business,
such as the review of training exercises, training program content
and STA network trainers. We are very proud to be associated with
such an accomplished group of individuals.

Jim
Lennox
Jim is the former Men's Head Coach at
Division I, Hartwick College and NSCAA
Director of Coaching Emeritus. He has
served as the Head Coach to the United
states Men's National 'B' Team. Hartwick
College won the NCAA Division I National
Championship under Jim's direction in
1977. He holds both the NSCAA Premier
National Diploma and USSF National 'A'
License.

Jeff
Tipping
Jeff Tipping is the former Men's Head
Coach at Division III, Muhlenberg College
and NSCAA Director of Coaching Emeritus.
He was the most winning soccer coach in
Muhlenberg school history with a 213-65-21
(.747) record in 16 seasons. Jeff has
led the Mules to multiple NCAA Tournament
appearances. Jeff has been named Regional
Coach of the Year three times. In 2002,
Jeff was appointed the Director of Education
for the NSCAA. He is a USSF National Staff
Coach and former professional all-star.

Peter
Gooding
Peter
is the Men's Head Coach at Division III,
Amherst College. He is an NSCAA Director
of Coaching Emeritus. He has been a member
of the NCAA Soccer Rules Committee and
past President of the NSCAA. Gooding has
coached soccer in both his native England
and in the United states prior to joining
the Amherst staff in 1968. Peter was the
2001 recipient of the Honor Award presented
by the NSCAA. The Honor Award is the NSCAA's
highest distinction, which Peter has now
received a total of three times during
his career.

Ron
McEachen
Ron is the current head coach at Skidmore
where he recently he won his 200th game
as a collegiate coach. He is the former
Head Coach at Division I, University of
Vermont for 11 seasons with a record of
114-76-26. Ron led UVM to the NCAA Final
Eight in 1989. Ron also served as assistant
coach for the MLS, New England Revolution
in 1994-1995. Ron played professionally
for the New York Cosmos and other professional
organizations and has been an NSCAA Associate
Director of Coaching.

Carl
Rees
Carl is in his eighth year as Men's Head
Coach at Division I, Fairfield University.
Prior to his tenure at Fairfield, Carl
was a men's assistant coach at Hartwick
College. He holds the USSF National 'A'
License and NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.
Carl was also a Technical Advisor for
the 1994 World Cup held in the United
states.

Sam
Okpodu
Sam is the current chief coach of the
Nigerian Women's Soccer Team headed to
the 2003 World Cup. He was head Women's
soccer coach at Virginia Tech University
from 1993-2002. Prior to that, he played
on various professional squads and previously
held the position of assistant coach of
the women's soccer team at North Carolina
State from 1990-1992, posting an overall
record of 47-17-2 and gaining three consecutive
NCAA tournament bids. Sam is also the
ACC's all-time Men's leading scorer, having
recorded a startling total of 193 points
for goals and assists in four seasons
at North Carolina State University. Sam
has also been a National Staff member
of the NSCAA.

Tom
Duffy
Tom is currently an assistant coach for
the perennially powerful William and Mary
Mens' Division I soccer team. Prior to
that he was an assistant coach for the
Hartwick Mens' Division I soccer team
for six years and the Head Mens' Division
I soccer coach at Oneonta State University
for four years. Tom has played and coached
soccer in England and holds a USSF National
'A' License.

Mike
Noonan
Mike is entering his ninth year as Head
Mens' Coach at Division I Brown University
where he has compiled an impressive record
along with several successful NCAA tournament
appearances. He has coached at other successful
Mens' programs and played professionally
both overseas and domestically. Noonan
holds an "A" license from the United states
Soccer Federation and is a National Staff
Coach for the National Soccer Coaches

Rudolf
Damberger
Rudolf
"Rudi" Damberger is the head soccer
trainer for SV Hutthurm in Germany's Bezirksoberliga,
the highest league of Lower Bavarian. He
has formerly coached SV Perlesreut from
1990 to 1995, SV Rohnrnbach from 1995 to
1998, TV Freyung from 1999 to 1993. A graduate
of the soccer school in Kaiserau, Rudi holds
his DFB (Deutscher Futball Bund) "A"
License. |
