The Scoop Catch is used to collect a ball that is rolling on the ground. Goalkeepers should concentrate on keeping their bodies behind the ball, knees out of the way, place hands along the ground with palms facing away from body and upper body over the ball.

CHEERS for Our Trainer Network"My son ... attended this past week's camp at Suffield Academy. I would love to thank [the whole staff] who were so supportive and informative to my son. This past week was not only incredibly wonderful for [him] for gaining the skills and the self-confidence that one needs to start learning the basics of soccer. But it was also a terrific start in becoming a more mature, independent person. [My son] is 10, and I guess one of the younger ones at your camp. He did have a hard time being away from home ...
